This beautifully bound book actually contains a full size lock box inside. Bound in strong black imitation leather with a false title printed in gold on the outside for something you'll be proud to keep on your bookshelf. A great place to keep all your valuables. Plenty of room for money, gold, jewelry, handgun or what ever you need to hide from others!

We listened to your comments and have increased the inside compartment to a generous 12" x 8 1/2" x 3 1/2" size so that you can store your 8 1/2" x 11" documents without them curling in the bottom. Removable cash tray now has a 9 compartment tray for holding cash & coins (for coins, it's can be stored on the side - see alternate images). Or remove the tray and store upright for other items like jewelry, cash or the gold you're now keeping due to the questionable economy.

We've also included 2 pull out inventory listings - one to keep in the box, one to keep with insurance documents or alternate location.

The outside dimensions of the book are: 12 1/4" tall x 9" wide x 4" thick - the inside storage area is 8 1/2" x 12 x 3 1/2". Search Amazon for the Grimm Combination Book Safe for a slightly smaller version or the Grimm Security Book Safe for a more normal sized book (but then less storage area).
• Comes with 2 Inventory Lists, Lock & 2 Keys. NEW! We've improved the lock so is now a regular keyed security lock and have increased the size so it will hold 8 1/2" x 11" sheets of paper laying flat in the bottom inch.
• Hide larger valuables right on your book shelves - hand gun, jewelry, gold coins, etc.
• Equipped with removable 9 compartment cash tray. Leave in for small objects & cash or remove for more storage area.
